Apologies for being so lax in blogging this month. My excuses:
- I moved (house, office, the works)
- I started a new consultancy (in addition to one I already have – hey, maybe the economy is improving!)
I could fill a month of blogs just with stories about what it’s like to be a new home owner. It’s a whole new realm of existence for me.
Just remember you can also follow me on social media, which I’ve done a slightly better job of in keeping up-to-date:
My Fan page on Facebook
I use my fan page to post links to online resources I’ve developed or revised, resources or information I think would be of valuable to nonprofits, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government-based community programs and other mission-based organizations, as well as information related to engaging volunteers, humanitarian / development / aid, communications, tech4good, ICT4D, Free & Open Source technologies (particularly those that can benefit nonprofits, NGOs and government programs). I also note here when I have published a new blog, published a new Tech4Impact newsletter, upload a new video, It can be anywhere from 1 to 5 posts a day.
You can also subscribe to this Facebook fan page via RSS:
Me on GooglePlus
I use this in exactly the same way that I use my Fan page on Facebook: exact same postings (when I remember that I have a GooglePlus account)
My @jcravens42 Twitter feed
This is my primary social media and online community interaction. My tweets, and those I follow, are regarding nonprofits and NGOs, engaging volunteers, humanitarian / development / aid, communications, tech4good, women & girls, Afghanistan, ICT4D, Free & Open Source technologies (particularly those that can benefit nonprofits, NGOs and government programs) and parks / tourism for development (development in the sense of community and human development). I also post about updates to my web site and new blog posts, interact with other Twitter users and participate in Tweetchats. I can post or retweet up to 50 things in an entire day (particularly when I’m participating in a tweet chat). But tweets are quite staggered.
